Disney Moderate Resorts

Disney Moderate resorts are a blend of comfort and value. Between the All-Star resorts and the Deluxe in both price and amenities, they are a good idea for anyone wanting a little more "magic" in their Walt Disney World vacation.

Why Stay at a Disney Moderate Resort?

The friendly Walt Disney World atmosphere is another reason to stay on-site at a Disney resort.  Disney does this better than any theme park I know -- the staff you come in contact with are smiling and helpful.

Another advantage is the easy transportation between all the theme parks via bus, as well as to all the other Disney resort hotels. No parking or traffic worries! (No chance of getting lost on the road either.)

In addition to the bus transportation, the Port Orleans resorts also have boat taxi transportation available to Downtown Disney. Not to mention The Port Orleans resorts are a hop, skip and jump from EPCOT (seriously -- it's about a 5 minute walk).

One benefit that appeals to me is not having to lug your new-found treasures all around the theme parks! When you go shopping in the parks, you can have your goodies sent to your room instead of taking them back there yourself.

You don't have to carry your credit cards around -- pretty much everything can be charged to your room. It's nice when you can account for all your purchases (helps you to plan for your next Walt Disney World vacation)

Which are the Disney Moderate Resorts?

There are four Disney Moderate resorts; they are:

• Caribbean Beach Resort, located in the EPCOT area.
• Coronado Springs Resort, located in the Animal Kingdom area.
• Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and Riverside, located in the Downtown Disney area.

Which is the Best Disney Moderate Resort?

Well, I have to say that its up to the individual. 

Some people like the swaying palms and island music of the Caribbean Beach Resort.   Others prefer the slightly more formal air of Coronado Springs.

And some just love being at Port Orleans, not only for the resort itself, but also how close it is to Downtown Disney.

So there's no real "best" -- only what you prefer.  All Disney Moderate resorts are great!
