The Disney WIlderness Lodge Villas is part of the overall Wilderness Lodge complex. A lovely re-creation of the Pacific Northwest, this resort blends the quiet comfort of a northwoods lodge with the traditional Disney magic.

It's the smallest of all the Vacation Club villas complexes. There are only 181 units, which means more peace and quiet (and shorter waits for everything).

Located in the Magic Kingdom area, the transportation from Wilderness Lodge Villas to the theme parks, the Disney resorts and other locations is via bus.

However, there is also a water launch that travels between the Contemporary Resort and the Wilderness Lodge villas. From the Contemporary, you can hop on the monorail.

On-site facilities include a quick service stand and two restaurants. The quick service stand is called "Roaring Forks Snacks" serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and can be take out or sit-down.

The specialty restaurant is called "Whispering Canyon Cafe", and it's a blast! The "Whispering Canyon" serves American foods for breakfast lunch and dinner in a family-style. It can get kind of raucous, so if you are looking for a quiet meal, look elsewhere. Disney Wilderness Lodge Totel Pole

Finally there is the signature restaurant called "Artist Point", serving dinner with American-style foods. A word of warning; "Artist Point" is very lovely and very expensive. The food is great, but the servings are so large most people can get away with a salad and an appetizer and be full!

The Wilderness Lodge Villas has two pools, several spas and a "geyser" (sounds interesting). There is also a white-sand beach.

Delight in a parent's night out by dropping the kids off at the Cub's Den for an evening of supervised activities.

The studios at Disney's Villas at Wilderness Lodge are roughly 360 square feet, and have either two double beds or a double bed and a sleeper sofa. Up to four guests are allowed in the studio.

Occupancy is up from four to 8 people per villa, depending on the size. The one and two bedroom villas include a full-size washer and dryer, in addition to a dishwasher. The one and two bedroom villas also feature a whirlpool tub, perfect after a day in the parks!

High-speed internet access is available for an extra fee.
