Disney World Magic Kingdom Park Hours

Magic Kingdom park hours tend to fluctuate the most during the month. One day the Magic Kingdom may close at 8:00 PM, the next day at 11:00 PM! The park closing time can effect the parades and fireworks times as well. On days where the closings are later, sometimes a parade is repeated. If you missed the earlier one, you can see the later one.

The Magic Kingdom is what most people think of first when they hear "Disney World".  It's the first of the parks that was built, and it remains the number one visited of all the theme parks.

The Magic Kingdom does have great parades and fireworks, and you can find the parade and fireworks hours here.

(Looking for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney Hollywoord Studios (MGM), Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon park hours? Check out the main Walt Disney World Park Hours page for the details!)

  • Since the Magic Kingdom theme park hours varies quite even from day to day (and are subject to change), here's the link to the official Magic Kingdom park hours. There you'll find the park hours of operation, up to six months in advance.
  • Note: Disney World keeps up the calendar on the site listed above, and I've occasionally seen the calendar go offline for between a few hours and few days. Just bookmark the page and check back the next day.

Keep in mind that if you are staying at one of the Walt Disney World resorts, you are eligible for the Extra Magc Hours program, at no additional cost.

The Extra Magic Hours lets you have an extra hour in the park either before or after normal hours!

Disney World's Most Popular Theme Park

Hands down, the Magic Kingdom is the most popular of all the Disney World theme parks.

Because of this (and because it's a relatively small park, area-wise), expect more crowds.

You'll find the most crowds in the summer and the week between Christmas and New Year.
